Hi guys! It’s January! That time of year when you have all these resolutions, goals, plans, and vision boards. You’ve got the scale out and ready to weigh in. You’ve got all this motivation, and then…something happens to derail you and all that stuff is left in the dust of good intentions.
I’m so happy to be recording with Dee this month…I missed her! I thought this would be the perfect time for us to talk about this past year. I wanted us to reflect on 2019 and make a list of some things the past year taught us or what we took from the universe. Here they are:
From Friday December 13th-Tuesday December 24th we will be giving away gifts EVERY day and EVERYONE that enters is entered into the GRAND PRIZE drawing- a free local spot on our Santa Rosa Beach retreat (a $429 value!)!
Since I announced the purchase of our property and our intention to create our home and my retreat ranch there- life has been full of so much joy + a lil frustration. Isn’t that how it goes sometimes?
My sweet friend Kim DeMoss and I were chatting recently about all the great things going on with Project Mindful Movement when we discovered the next topic for my Podcast. As Kim felt pulled in different directions and not sure if it was all feeling how she wanted it to feel.
It’s giving Tuesday. There are so many wonderful-amazing-honest-incredible companies and organizations to give to and are asking you for support. Which is so beautiful.
In today’s Happy Hour Podcast show, my good friend Stefanie and I talked about the different approaches to viewing parenting as a mother. One type of mother will celebrate and connect with other mothers, regardless if their parenting styles match.
Accumulatively it has been over 10 years of hosting retreats for me. From corporate retreats to personal wellness to couples retreats. I can remember my very first retreat I did without the corporate backing or partner influence and let me tell you- it was scary as sh&t.
The other day I was getting my butt kicked by Ally Love on my Peloton app. While she was whooping us, Ally talked about the difference between ‘want’ and ‘need.’
Back in my corporate days (err a long time ago), one of the things I did was host occasional corporate leadership retreats and absolutely loved it. Then, after I left corporate I dilly dallied in some amazing things and then I hosted my first wellness retreat about 7+ years or so ago.
