Raise your hand if you’ve ever said, “I’m fine,” while silently thinking, “I’m falling apart.”
Yep. Been there. In fact, I built my entire retreat business because I’ve been there.
For many of us women—especially in midlife—we’re juggling careers, relationships, hormones, laundry mountains, and let’s be honest, the occasional existential crisis… all while trying to keep a smile on our face. And somewhere along the way, we lose her—you know, her… the joyful, calm, confident version of ourselves that’s buried under the overwhelm.
That’s why I’m such a loud, proud, no-shame-in-my-game advocate for women’s retreats. Because sometimes the only way to feel like you again… is to step away from everything else.
You’re Not Broken, You’re Burned Out
One of the biggest things I hear from women at our retreats is:
“I didn’t realize how much I needed this.”
That’s because we normalize being tired. We wear busyness like a badge of honor and think burnout is just part of the deal. But sis, it’s not. It’s a signal. And one of the best ways to answer that signal?
You guessed it: a women’s retreat.
Why Women’s Retreats Actually Work
I’m not talking about a girls’ weekend with too much wine (though hey, I love a good glass too). I’m talking about intentional, soul-filling, judgment-free time to just… be. And that’s the kind of retreat we host at Mind & Body Complete.
When you show up at one of our retreats, you’re entering a space where:
You don’t have to cook, clean, schedule, or people-please.
You get to breathe. Deeply. Fully. Maybe for the first time in a while.
You remember what it feels like to be in your body without rushing or numbing.
You meet women who see you and celebrate you—not compete with you.
And most importantly:
You reconnect with YOU.
The rested you. The laughing-you-so-hard-you-snort you. The “oh wow, I forgot how good this feels” version of you.
What You’ll Actually Take Home
Sure, you’ll leave with some cute photos, maybe a new journal or essential oil, and a belly full of farm-to-table deliciousness. But the best souvenir? Your energy.
That kind of energy that changes how you show up in your life, your relationships, your work.
That kind of energy that whispers, “You’re allowed to take care of yourself too.”
Oh and bonus- you also leave with NEW FRIENDS. Each and every time.
Your Invitation
If you’re exhausted, running on fumes, or just feel off—it doesn’t mean you need to overhaul your life. You might just need to pause.
So consider this your nudge. Your permission slip. Your lovingly wrapped invitation to join one of our women’s retreats.
Let’s help you come back to life… by coming back to yourself.
See you at the ranch, beach, or maybe even in Tulum.
Either way, your hammock is waiting!
P.S. Want to learn how to plan, price, and sell out your next retreat? I’m teaching all of that (and more) at my London workshop. Here’s the scoop.
