Life is different
Life has changed drastically from just a week ago. And it will continue to change as we adjust to a temporary norm, and then another new norm after this ‘storm’ has passed.
We can sit in our space and be scared or frustrated…or we can make this time meaningful for us. It is a choice. I am not downplaying the impact this time is having on us all (physically, emotionally and financially)- but staying stuck in the shit of it will only weaken our immune system and cause us even more angst.
So what can we do?
- The kids: if you are now ‘homeschooling’ your child(ren) and looking for additional resources, this site is amazing. Also my friend Kim, who designed Project Mindful Movement- an incredible resource for parents and teachers, is GIVING AWAY her Mindful Corner Kit– and my kids absolutely LOVE THIS! We have her full program and have begun incorporating it daily into our ‘homeschool’ time and not only am I grateful (helps to focus and calm the kids) – but the kids actually LOVE it. HIGHLY recommend.
