Retreat Leader Mastermind FAQ's

Is this for beginners or experienced retreat leaders?

You do not have to be an experienced retreat leader to belong in this room. Some attendees are preparing to host their first retreat. Others have already hosted retreats and are ready to improve their profitability, positioning, systems or visibility. And some are established entrepreneurs exploring how retreats can become a powerful extension of an existing business.

I’m coming alone-will that be weird?

Not at all. Most people come on their own, and it’s actually part of what makes the experience so powerful. You’ll be surrounded by people in a similar place, and connections happen quickly and naturally.

Are there payment plans available?

Yep! During registration you can set up a payment plan.

Can I share a room with a friend?

If you have a roommate you’d like to share accommodations with, be sure to clearly indicate that when you register for your retreat- and if the room structure allows it, it will happen.

Is this a CO-ED Function?

Yes this Mastermind is open to everyone.

Is daily housekeeping included?

Ahhhh the joys of someone else doing the dirty work! While we do not provide daily room cleaning service- we do take care of all the meals outlined in your program and NO DISH DUTY for you!

Can I bring my service animal?

Well now this is just difficult to say…but no. Sadly Retreat Ranch does not allow outside animals due to their free ranging livestock and guardian livestock dog. This includes NO service animals.

I haven’t hosted a retreat yet-will this still work for me?

Yes-and it’s one of the best times to join. You’ll build your retreat the right way from the start instead of trying to fix mistakes later. Many people come in at this stage and leave with a clear, actionable plan.

Will I have time to work on my own retreat during this?

Yes. This isn’t just sit-and-listen content. You’ll have space to think, plan, and apply what you’re learning so you leave with real progress-not just notes.

Is this worth the investment?

If you’re serious about running retreats as part of your business, yes. One properly priced, well-marketed retreat can more than cover your investment. The bigger cost is continuing to guess, underprice, or struggle to fill your retreats.

What if I have diet restrictions?

Pretty much all of our meals are gluten free and most of the time dairy free options. If you have diet restrictions outside of this, let us know so we can see if we can accommodate you (usually- we can 🙂 ). For vegan/vegetarian options- we keep the meats offered separate from the meal so that everyone can happily choose what goes on their plates.

What is your cancellation policy?

Yikes – NOOOOO say it ain’t so! Ok, ya, we get it. Life happens. However all payments are NON-REFUNDABLE. So be sure to get that travel insurance for any possible conflicts or emergencies that may come up for you.

What do I bring?

Yourself. That is really it. Obviously bring your joyous heart and open mind too, but otherwise we just need you.

Will this help me actually make money with my retreats?

YES. AND this isn’t even an expense if you actually use what you learn.

If your retreat has 12 guests and you increase your profit by just $500 per guest because you learned to price correctly, that’s an extra $6,000.

If better positioning helps you sell three additional spots at $3,000 each, that’s $9,000 in additional revenue.

If one connection in the room leads to a collaboration, podcast appearance, referral relationship or future retreat partnership?

What if I’ve already hosted retreats but they didn’t sell out or weren’t profitable?

Perfect-you’re exactly who this is for. We’ll identify what didn’t work (usually marketing, pricing, or positioning) and fix it so your next retreat is structured to actually fill and make money.

Will I actually learn how to market and sell my retreat?

Yes. This is a big part of the experience. You’ll learn how to position your retreat, attract the right audience, and confidently sell it. Because if you can’t sell it, none of the rest matters.

I hear there are wild animals at Retreat Ranch?

Well, yes, there is wildlife on the ranch (which we adore). We have many deer, some fox, lots of squirrels and the nature of the area tells us there are snakes (among other friends to be sure). They are more afraid of us, then we are of them so be aware of your surroundings and maybe not try to shake paws with any of them. Please note: we have lots of cedar trees on the property, which for some can cause allergy like symptoms for a couple of days.
