Chronic Illness—it’s safe to say that we either already know or will meet someone suffering of a chronic illness (or maybe we fall in that realm ourselves). But sometimes we fail to realize the emotional and physical toll it takes on that person throughout their lifetime.
On today’s episode of The Happy Hour Podcast, we decided to focus on one of our own, Stefanie, who has lived with a chronic illness since she was 18 years old. Here we uncover the truth behind how she dealt with it at a younger age, but has continued to learn how to live with the uncertainties the disease casts on her life. Shed the outer layers and truly dive in with us as we discover the impact living with a life-changing chronic condition can pose on the human body.
