Ok, let me get real with you, teaching yoga is no cake walk. You invest a lot of personal time to improve your own skills so you can be a master of your craft. That’s great and all, but nobody’s perfect so you’ll trip up a few times- AND THAT’S OK.
Hot Yoga is an in-studio class where vigorous yoga is performed in a very hot and sometimes humid setting. The studio’s temperature is deliberately kept high for the duration of the class.
Who is a Yoga Teacher? First let me say a yoga teacher is not just someone who teaches great asanas. Borrowing from Indeed, a teacher is defined as a professional who shares their knowledge on a particular topic or set of topics with a group of students in hopes of advancing their knowledge.
Recently, I was asked by someone if online yoga teacher training is legit. Of course, I gave a resounding yes! You may be wondering if I was offended by the bluntness of the question, the truth is I wasn’t.
I get asked quite often; “how are things going with the build out of Retreat Ranch?”, and my standard response is usually, “going slow”. But today I needed to take stock and look at how far we have come (sort of). And I thought I would share that with you.
The word I am talking about today is Fear. (hey what word did you think I was talking about?). Fear can be, under ‘normal’ circumstances, very debilitating to us. In today’s world? It is almost like our second layer of skin. It is with us all day.
